Premium pickleball paddle manufacturer Selkirk Sports introduced their new Latitude Widebody composite paddle late last August. This paddle might have gone under your radar, so we think it’s worth a second look and full product review. We played with the Selkirk Latitude pickleball paddle for a couple of weeks and especially loved the paddle’s balance in performance (power vs. control). Its sizable width performed extremely well in dinking and volley battles. Although our demo paddle was 6.9 oz, there is a heavier paddle head in this line for improved power shots. The paddle grip was ample in length and had an impressive sticky surface. If you prefer a wider handle, you can always add another layer of high-quality grip tape.

We don’t know about you, but we’ve noticed that paddle face graphic designs are important to Picklers. Just how important remains a mystery, but one thing we know for sure is that nobody picks a pickleball paddle that they think is ugly.
